Anybody watch Browns-Steelers last night?

I watched most of it. Impressions:

1) Rapistburger is a tough guy. He played the second half with a high ankle sprain, and played the entire game with a broken thumb.

2) James Harrison is dirty. He's Rodney Harrison Dirty.

3) Browns are ignoring Cribbs. We should trade for him.

4) Colt McCoy is awful. Just dreadful, especially in pressure situations.

Your thoughts?

While watching the game I couldn't help but wonder who has been more important to the Steelers organization over their run the last few years, and who could they least afford to lose:

- Big Ben
- Mike Tomlin
- Dick Lebeau

I'd say Tomlin is the one, out of that list, that they could get rid of tomorrow and still be as successful.

Big Ben. Hands down.

Their D got torched in SB against AZ but Big Ben leads them to victory.

Is this the official list? Is it not worthy of 10 things? Anyway I agree that Rothlesberger is tough. I was afraid he was going to cost them the game with his lack of mobility, but he did fine once he figured how to throw.

Harrison should get 2 or 3 game suspensions on his dirty hit of McCoy.

Who would throw to Cribbs? He would be wasted like other receivers.

Cassel > McCoy, as much as it pains me to say it.

2/3.

Tomlin is nothing special other than another coached plugged into the best coaching situation in the NFL. He inherited the best DC in the NFL and an elite QB to boot.

Life for Tomlin is NICE. Had Cowher had a QB like Ben, he'd have won more than 1 SB.

The Squeelers ability to put an outstanding defense out there year in and year out is nothing short of amazing.

McCoy isnt very good, in time he might develop, but i dont see anything "elite" or much upside to him. Browns need to draft a QB. (again)

That is really a tough question, they seem to be equal 1/3s of the pie to me. I guess I would give the slight edge to Big Ben, but it is very slight.

It would be so cool to have a QB like that.

Steelers won 3 of 4 with Batch while Raplesburger was suspended. Tomlin can coach some.

Pure luck that the Steelers snagged him. They went 6-10 in 03 and didnt draft him untl the 11th pick. Maybe the Chiefs will get lucky like that someday....

We can only hope, but they are going to have to TRY.

I remember us passing on Rodgers for Derrick Johnson like it was yesterday. This board was ecstatic as DJ was the consensus. A lot of teams passed on him, but we got what is turning out to be a very fine player.

At least Cleveland keeps trying, as do others.
