Pretty damn amusing.

I really do wish the kid well. He'd be a great player in Kansas City to fit in with a proud tradition of elite RBs.

I wouldn't be upset with Richardson in the first, if it were to happen, simply because he's a good player, but I don't think it would be the right choice.

Worst case scenario, if Richardson was on the board and we were 12th and traded him to the next earliest team who could be picking RB (Bengals @ 17th), then going by the value chart, we could get and extra 3rd and 4th.

EDIT: Looked at the chart wrong. Their true pick is 21st, so if we traded for their 17th pick (Oaklands) we could get their 3rd, 4th and 5th or their 2013 2nd. If we traded for their 21st we could get their 2nd.

If we went with Cleveland at 22nd we could get their 3rd and 4th and something from 2013, most likely their 3rd.

If we could get their second, we should do it IMO.

We could potentially set our OL and DL in the first two rounds, with Konz, Poe, and the best RT available. It's not flashy picks but it would really be what we need.

If you are gonna get Soliai to play NT you could get something else i suppose.

agree with all of this

we can get RB value in later rounds, but the guy is a legit talent so at least it wouldn't be like taking Jackson...my hope is that we trade down regardless

If TR were in the same draft just a few yrs ago with AP where would you place him in relation to AP? AP went 7th I believe and was the first RB off the board.

I get they are two different type of runners but talent wise is TR as good as AP, better or slightly less than AP?

As far as prospect wise I would say

1. AP
2. McFadden
3. Richardson

I generally don't believe in taking RBs in the 1st but I also don't believe in absolutes.

I think it'd be wise to make an exception if this guy is of the caliber of AP or McFadden.

Plus RBs come & go so quickly in the league now a days, there's no guarantee Jamaal is the same guy.

Richardson would almost assuredly guarantee our running game is top notch the next 5 years.

McFadden was thought to be good, but then he ran that ridiculous 4.33 40 time which shot up his stock.

Lets see what Richardson runs. If you want him to be a Chief, better hope he's closer to 4.5 (might need him to be on the plus side of 4.5) than a flat 4.4

If he gets some buzz around him after running a crazy 40 time? Forget about him being a Chief.
