Think about it. All you pasty-ass crackahs can now have a talented guy to root for in our LB squad instead of cheering on that hunk of poo Studebaker.

Just to look at a mock draft I have up in the other window, the following players go from #44 on: Ronnell Lewis Alfonzo Dennard David Wilson Amini Silatolu Kevin Zeitler Throw McMellin in there, and my preferences would look like: Dennard McClellin Lewis Silatolu Zeitler Wilson So I imagine he'd be high up on my list if he were still around. |

I like that video of his play, too. He's very heady against the run.

I'd take him at 44, but I don't think he'll be there. Shea is a terrific ball player...think Gary Spani.

I love McClellin also but where would we start him? He is a 3-4 OLB and we already have Hali and Houston.

Who said anything about starting? Besides, with our nickel pkg we can move Tamba inside next to Bailey and have him on the field with Houston at the same time.

Tamba is one of the top edge rushers in the league. I don't mind the thought but I don't really wanna move him inside.
If I'm wanting a guy like that I hope Ingram falls. He's the most versatile IMO. |

I don't think you use a 2nd round pick on a guy you have no designs on starting when you still have some pretty serious needs on the squad, especially when that guy doesn't even have an avenue for playing time for the next 3 seasons, apart from injury.
Hell, if you're going to do that, target another OT; at least then you'd have a backup at a position of extreme value that may start in 2013 if Albert goes. There are too many players that are capable of making a greater impact that will be available in the 2nd to justify taking a 3-year backup/sub player at 44. In the 3rd? Sure, why not? But not the 2nd.

It really hurt the Giants drafting JPP when they already had Osi and Tuck...
