Just saw that Adam Teicher has been added as the Chiefs ESPN reporter. Haven't seen his byline lately in the Star. Is the "daring one" gone from the Star?

Yeah, was announced a few days ago and I think he started yesterday. He's their new Chiefs beat reporter. There's a new area on their website with bloggers from all 32 teams.

Wasn't sure if he was still there. Those of us who don't live in the KC area only get limited views of the KC Star now because idiot ownership thinks we'll pay for the content. Same owner, McClatchy, as the Idaho Statesman here in Boise, which is trying the same thing.

Soooooooooo - can get the news from somewhere else in both cases. Last time I checked, their website advertising was tied to number of people a day who get on the site. And advertising is where they are going to make their money.

Was in the newspaper business for 30 years and got out mostly because I could see what was coming with the internet. Newspaper publishing companies didn't have a clue then how to deal with it. Still don't.
