OS X users...did Apple change something in Safari 7.0.2?
It used to be that Safari honored websites that sent the "autocomplete=off" flag.
So if you tried to login to say Yahoo! Mail, you would get a prompt that Safari cannot save your password to the Autofill database. In order to enable it, you had to enable password security and auto screen lock or something like that. My iMac is physically secure so rather than enable all that, I just typed in my passwords manually. Today I went to login to my NAS, which I haven't done since I upgraded to Mavericks, and it suddenly saved my password without any warning or anything. Did they change something? |
