Senior Bowl thread

Weigh-in's currently taking place.

Eric Fisher and Dee Ford were stars of this event the last 2 years, so we'll probably draft the best player this week.

Impulsive observations looking at the weigh-ins:
  • Ameer Abdullah is tiny. He better time in the 4.4s or he's going to slide bigtime.
  • Lookout for Nick Boyle as a potential Dorsey TE: 6'4", 270 lbs.
  • Good to see TJ Clemings get closer to 310 lbs.
  • Quandre Diggs isn't even 5'9" -- that is a problem.
  • Justin Hardy's only 5'10" -- wonder if that'll change his evaluations. He was originally listed at 6'0".
  • I don't know a lot just yet about Jeff Luc out of Cincy, but 5'11", 260+ lbs is an odd frame for an ILB.
  • Sean Mannion looking like a god at 6'5", 230 lbs. That will only deepen the love for him around here.
  • Small school of the year: Hobart! Some guard named Ali Marpet's from there. Last year it was Dakota Dozier out of Furman.
  • Eric Rowe "only" coming in at 6'0", not the 6'2" he was advertised by Utah. Same with Josh Shaw, who also was advertised as being a little longer than that.
  • I love that Za'Darius Smith is playing this week, too. Go get 'em, son.

Considering the Fisher and Ford picks, maybe that's a good thing?

He's listed as "6004," which is draftnik talk for 6'00" and 4/10's inches.

So he's actually just above 6'0".

Edit: And yes, it's irritating they do it like that.

8th's bro, not 10ths.

6' 0-1/2"

I expected Hardy to come in about an inch taller. He looked as though he was teetering on the 5'11 to 6'0 not the 5'10 to 5'11... Either way, kid is a damn baller. I'd say it wouldn't be a big deal, but that could legitimately side him to the 3rd round. I actually dropped him out of the current mock I'm working on but hmmmm might slip him in there in round 3. We'll see.

@nfldraftscout: Ty Montgomery has consistently struggled to catch the ball here.

Do not want

If the Chiefs didn't already have a speedy midget receiver, I would be pretty interested in Jamison Crowder.

Coates caught everything today. He looked good but it's just one day compared to the rest of his career. The TE Clive Walford seems to be a deal.
