Week 1 Play of the Game

Just got done re-watching the game, and man, despite a variety of awful plays in the first half, there were a ton of great plays too. Here are a few of my favorites. What's your play of the game?

Parker's TD-saving deflection.
SD kicked a FG here instead, which was the last time they scored in the game.

Smith to Ware for 45 yards.
The first play of our first TD drive. It really seemed to turn the momentum in our direction.

Smith to Maclin back-shoulder TD.
To say this was a great throw is an understatement.

Smith to Maclin to set up the tying TD.
Maclin deserves a lot of credit for being willing to hang in there for shit like this.

Ford's sack on Rivers.
Better late than never. This prevented any chance of a last-second FG to win it in regulation.

Alex's TD dive to seal the win.
It was close, but was somehow fitting that he ran it in himself to end the game.

The game-clincher was huge no doubt. I had to go with the back-shoulder TD, though. Alex basically NEVER throws those kinds of passes, and that one was both on the money and exactly on time. In terms of pure skill required, that one took it for me.

I just don't know. So many amazing plays. I'm not accustomed to this many big plays to choose from in a Chiefs game.

What about the two passes to Kelce on that final drive (one that converted a 3rd down IIRC) that Alex never makes either. That Maclin TD was a beaut tho

Also I have a very love/hate relationship with Alex. But sometimes that guy is pretty amazing. And sometimes he's a check down artist. Hoping to see more of the 4th quarter Alex this year

Back shoulder TD. They had to score quickly on that drive, and they did. Huge play.

Yeah, there were certainly some clutch plays by Kelce in there too. At some point I got tired of copying and pasting HTML code.
