Lets Be Honest...The Jets D Line Is A Problem

Wilkerson is a BEAST
Williams is a BEAST
McLendon looking very beastly
Jenkins no slouch either
and then you got Sheldon Richardson who got a chip on his shoulder saying he feels he is disrespected and slept on...

These guys are straight up scary

Chiefs line gonna handle these guys? I donno

I've said it a few times now. Yes they are talented up front. But you watch the Bills game from last week and tell me how impressive they were... hell, the Bills didn't even have Cordy Glenn.

They did a nice job filling in the run game even though LeSean made his own yards sometimes, but the pass rush was not there. They leave a lot of room for the QB to scramble. Tyrod had ample time to scan the field all night against the Jets.

I find it funny that everybody sees our weakness on the edge with Houston out, but fails to see that the Jets are in the same boat. Their DL might be better, but our edge rushers are too.

The Jets have run a very interesting style of defense highlighting their D Line. Often not even using any OLBs. The Jets D is a true hybrid style defense. Hard to prepare for because they have so many different looks. They have Mauldin as an outside rusher as well as Catapano. They have been running a 4-3 and using Catapano primarily on 1st downs as a run stopper along with 2 MLBs Harris and Henderson. When Catapano was with KC rumors were he routinely killed Fisher in practice, so it will be interesting to see if they let him rush against his old team since there is familiarity there. Mauldin has been used as the outside rusher on passing downs when they are using their OLBs. Very interesting style defense. They sprinkle in Darron Lee as well in various ways. Jordan Jenkins also figures to be back in the mix as he is healthy now after nursing a calf injury.

Just noticed they're playing Sheldon Richardson on the outside. That's a weird ass defense.

Schwartz better bring his lunchpail.

Oh shit. The fallout here if Cat beats Fisher for a sack or two.

Both T's played like $3it last week.

I can forgive Fish (yes, I'm not a believer but I'm fair) for two of those penalties last week because he was protecting his QB from getting killed. Smith was holding the ball far too long.

Schwartz got face raped most of the day. On one play Watt faked outside, went inside, and took his left (supposedly weak) arm and shoved Schwartz to the ground.

With one arm shoved a ****ing grown assed man, a "top 5 NFL RT" at that, to the dirt...
