In honor of Saints Week: Chiefs 27, Saints 24; September 23, 2012 (18 point comeback)

Kansas City 27, New Orleans 24
September 23, 2012

The last time we played the Saints was memorable. This game was one of the very few high points in what was probably the worst season in Chiefs history. Until the Chargers game this year, this was the franchise's biggest ever comeback.

Seeing Matt Cassel hand off to Jamaal Charles gave me an unpleasant shiver. Thanks for that.

**** off. This "amazing" comeback win very nearly derailed our efforts to lose out and get rid of the Patriot Way. When it happened, I feared the exact same thing as that "gritty" come from behind victory against the Colts in 2011. It was meaningless and potentially destructive to the team and its ability to win games in the longterm.

I don't look on that game fondly at all. It sucked.
