Y'know, I remember thinking the same thing in that game, though I didn't remember the opponent. In his last game before the diagnosis I remember him chasing someone on a long gain and thinking, "Geez, when did he get so slow?" When we think about contract years, we probably should remember that he played at least one season with a major undiagnosed illness.
