Not sure you can allow trading, because what's the incentive to take a future pick from someone when it is literally nothing, unless you try and remember all the trades and carry them forward to the next year, but that would also need the exact same people...

Realism. It's not a build a team project. Basically, allowing for what could happen, such as Buffalo moving up for a QB in this year's draft or maybe KC coming up out of the 2nd for a CB, etc. The time limits wouldn't permit people to get fancy with that shit, and pretty well eliminates it after the 1st/2nd round. It probably won't happen anyway, CP mock has been going on for a decade and can't get more than 16 owners? I thought maybe if it was an all in one shot deal, there'd be more interest than the marathon session of the regular mock.
