Question: will NFL flex Week 7 Chiefs v. Bengals to Sunday Night?

I think NFL may decide to flex out of the Rams-Niners from Sunday Night week 7 since Niners look bad with backup QB.

I think Chiefs-Bengals at Arrowhead may be the best game to flex into Sunday night.

NFL would have to announce by tomorrow if decision to flex is made.

NFL can flex up to 2 games weeks 5-10 and Week 7 seems like the worst Sunday night matchup for weeks 5-10.

Just speculation by me, but I would not be surprised.

They should if they know what's good for ratings.

No way SF LA draws as much as the two best records in the AFC going head to head.

We're on Sunday night football in Week 6 against New England. I agree that KC v Cincy is better than LA v SF but:

1) LA v SF will involve two far larger markets than KC and Cincy; and
2) I don't think KC will be on SNF 2 weeks in a row.

My 2¢ worth

No, but it's not the SF part. It's that they won't/can't put KC on SNF in back-to-back weeks. It just doesn't happen often. No way is Cincy the kind of draw to make it happen.

Yeah, Cincy doesn’t carry enough weight to justify having the Chiefs on there 2 weeks in a row.

Yeah, I'd say it would happen if not for us already having SNF this week. Just don't see them having us on back-to-back.

Week 8 SNF is Saints-Vikings and Week 9 is Packers-Patriots and Week 10 is Cowboys-Eagles. So Rams-Niners seems like the most likely week 5-10 flex if any.

Since it would have to be announced by tomorrow, we'll know soon enough.

Niners lost at home to the winless Cardinals yesterday. Just sayin'

Bengals have no Monday or Sunday night games this year so I guess that are not the hottest item with the networks.

Remember that Sunday night game that Tyler Palko played against Pittsburgh?

Yeah, they didn't flex that out, did they?

Plus, they don't really flex games this early, do they? I can't remember the last time they switched out prime time games earlier than Week 10. I don't think they've ever done that.
