Only Mahomes can stop Mahomes....

Never seen a QB like him. Favre? Sorta. Rodgers? Maybe. Manning? Not so much. Elway? At times. Marino? Closer.

Denver brought the best defense we have seen this year both games and probably better in the second game. Outside of a surprise blitz and a couple of times when they forced him to throw it away, Mahomes was his own worst enemy.

Over throwing some receivers one of which led to an INT. Pass to Hunt that was late and led Hunt OOB or otherwise it was an easy 6. And a bad, bad read on an RPO when he should have given Hunt the ball.

End result?

70% completion rate
303 yards
4 TD
1 INT

And a win!

Only Mahomes can stop Mahomes, BITCH!

Most of his INTs have come with big leads. I don’t hate it. He stays aggressive.

He’ll learn. Kid is a superstar in the purest way.

I think this was the only game of the season where I didn't say out loud, "Holy shit, wow!" on a Mahomes play.

-That came on a Kareem Hunt TD run...

That felt like a C game or maybe B- game for him and still piled up some pretty good stats.

We are simpatico on this particular point, Mr. petegz28. (I need to work on some rhymes dealing with that subject.)

That's a whole lot of pressure to put on a 23-year-old kid, though. A whole lot.

He is ****ing insane. When literally you're mistakes are the only thing that can stop you, you are among the elite. We've seen some decent and good defenses this season and none of them can slow him down. Even when he is having an off game by his standards.

To me, this was our worst game of the year. And we still scored 30.

And got Wally #201.

Chiefs have not had the best luck this year with injuries. And yet somehow I doubt the media will make injury excuses like I hear them doing for other teams.

Nope. Not at all.

Which partially explains why we only scored 30 (should have been 31).
