Antonio Brown...would Andy?
Hear me out guys. At this moment in time we stand on the verge of probably losing Sammy Watkins and Demarcus Robinson due to the cap and free agency. Looking at the free agency market and the only name that may be good enough is Robby Anderson and not much else. Then we could look at the draft but the very best receivers (Jeudy, Lamb, Ruggs etc) will be well gone by the time we pick in the first. Add to that it's well known that rookies tend to struggle in their first few years in Andy's system. So what do we do? AB has already started his journey to redemption by apologising to the Steelers HERE and talking about his issues.
What made me start this thread though is THIS tweet he sent recently talking about "coming back like Mike Vick"....and WHO was the guy who gave Vick his chance? Yep, Our own Andy Reid. I don't believe AB is a "bad" man...just a guy lacking a little maturity and making stupid mistakes as well as adopting a diva attitude. I think he's been humbled now though..and IF he'd be prepared to come to KC on a modest deal to start afresh and rebuild himself, would Andy pull the trigger on that deal? I mean, someone is going to take a chance on him, period...could yall imagine Pat throwing to a talent like AB? The offense would be insane. Just something I've been thinking about In light of this Watkins situation....we could get a guy who is an UPGRADE on a modest deal...just saying . |

This dude is not OK. Clearly, he belongs in a mental ward, not a football field. He needs help. Signing him would be ****ing reeruned, but Veach isn’t that, so I wouldn’t think about it.

This guy got cut by the Raiders and the Patriots. Let that sink in. He’s very talented but hes a ticking time bomb.
The serious things aside, he’s also a me guy. He constantly cried about not getting targets in Pittsburg, and lost his gawd damn mind when juju broke out. Not sure how that would work out playing in Andy’s system, and sharing targets with kelce, hill. |

Wtf do YOU know about mental health? So many folks said the same stupid thing about Marcus Peters too...it's just pathetic. Has he had emotional issues? Maybe..but acting like a diva/idiot is NOT a major mental health problem.

You have to be trolling. If you think Antonio Brown is of sound mental health, you’re either a massive fanboy or reeruned. We all know it’s the latter, though.

there is no way the nfl will allow antonio back until it's proven these claims against him are false (sexual abuse claims)
and no to answer your question. |

In addition to the talent of Mahomes/Reid, the Chiefs' strength is team cohesion/culture and passion.
AB brings top-tier talent but absolutely none of the rest, perhaps even a negative score. Considering that Mahomes can elevate any WR, AB's overall profile suddenly becomes fair-to-middling. Hard pass. Might as well look into Vontage Burfict while we're at it. |
