New deck built about a year and a half ago, should this concern me?

Yes I paid a contractor to build my deck, take away my man card whatever. I'm 90% sure this post wasn't like this before. Notice the curvature/warping? How concerned should I be about this?

Shouldn’t the post be on the slab? I would worry about the deck ending up not level rather than failure of the post

I bet they are rated for ground contact but, I would worry this will get worse.

It is in concrete, wouldnt pass inspection in my county if it wasn't. The slab was poured afterwards.

No, they told me not to seal it for at least a year to give it a chance to completely dry. I plan on it before fall.
