I think we can stop the Mahomes and Michael Jordan comparisons. .
He not the leader competitor we thought he was. .

Hes amazing and we're def blessed to have him but winning doesnt define him like it did Michael. .

Its a long season and I hope Im wrong

I know I'll get hate for this thread but no way prime Jordan lets 3 of the players being mentioned as the best beat him. . Jackson, herbert, and Allen have all showed him up...

wont mention Brady as thats too obvious. .

I dont see the fire in him this year. . i see him sitting on the sidelines looking defeated. .

this game was not on the defense..they gave him plenty of chances in the 2nd half. .

You can't really compare basketball to football because basketball one player can have a lot more impact than one player in football can. MJ was a great defender, Mahomes doesn't play defense at all.

Mahomes is definitely extremely competitive. Brady didn't win the SB every year and lost plenty of times to other good great to QBs. Same with MJ. Lets just calm down. Mahomes isn't playing his best right now but he's still probably best QB in NFL, just having a down year so far.

Our offense is still among the best in the NFL despite last nights game.

agree and I still take Mahomes number overall if im building a team. . it just seems the hunger is gone a bit..maybe too much early success..Herbert and Allen seem hungrier. .

Peyton Manning threw 100 picks in his first 5 seasons. Brady had very pedestrian stats through his first several years. How many seasons before Elway won 1 Super Bowl? How many seasons before Rodgers was even a starter?

Point being, the QB “prime” isn’t the RB “prime”. The QB prime seems to come when the QB is in their late 20’s through mid 30’s. It’s a very long prime that is more about the knowledge and experience than the physical ability.

We haven’t seen Mahomes’s best yet (as crazy as that might seem).

God, I hate it when the Chiefs lose. Not because of the loss, but because of all the hot takes from all the bitches in this fan base who can't deal with the fact that the Chiefs are not going to win a SB every year, and they are not going undefeated, and Mahomes is actually a human being who was having a very good season up until last night. Last night was the worst we've ever seen out of him, easily his worst night as a pro.
