Guys you wouldn’t hesitate to take if they fall to 30

Give me a list of guys you would run to the podium for.

My list:

Chris Olave, WR, Ohio St.
Garrett Wilson, WR. Ohio St.
Treylon Burks, WR, Arkansas
Drake London, WR, USC
George Karlaftis, EDGE, Purdue
David Ojabo, EDGE, Michigan
Jermaine Johnson, EDGE, FSU
Travon Walker, EDGE, Georiga
Andrew Booth Jr., CB, Clemson
Jordan Davis, DT, Georgia

Try to keep it somewhat realistic. For instance, Kayvon Thibodeaux and Aidan Hutchinson have 0 chance of making it to 30.

I would swap out Olave for Jaquan Brisker. Just not that high on Olave for some reason. I'd also add in Trevor Penning if we haven't done anything to RT in FA

I think that pretty much covers it.

Maybe add Trent McDuffie or Jahan Dotson.

Do you really think Davis is realistic to fall out of the top 15? I don't. He's a rare animal as a NT and it seems 3-4 teams will be jumping at the chance to draft him.

The DT that seems to be falling a bit lately is DeMarvin Leal.

I like the list overall.

I think a guy that people have been downplaying lately far too much is Kaiir Elam, CB, Florida. Granted, he wasn't as good this year as last year because he got knicked up a little, but that kid is long, an excellent player, and pretty fast. If he's there, I'd have a hard time not running to the podium.

Okay take it one step further. Let’s say they’re all on the board (they won’t be).

What order are you taking them in?

I don't think I'd take a CB in the first ever again. I know I'm in the minority around here, but I think CB is on par with RB. You need 'em, they need to be good, but they're not worth a #1 and you can find quality players later in the draft to fit your scheme. And then they're probably not worth paying that second contract, so just keep churning that position.

I definitely don’t think he falls, but I also don’t think it’s 0 like guys such as Thibodeaux and Hutchinson.

I’d have no problem if you said he’s the least likely to fall on that list though.

Agreed on Leal as well. My only question is, do we take a 3 tech in the 1st? I feel like if they take a DT in the 1st, it will be somebsky that can start next to Jones.

Love Elam, he’s on my short list and the only reason he’s not on this list is because I feel more confident that he will be in our range. The only thing about Elam is that his run support is very poor, and I fear that will be a deal breaker for Spags.

Karlaftis is really intriguing to me. Seems like one of those “falls because they think it’s a low floor like tj watt” and ends up being an ass kicker with a high motor

I took a deeper look at Crow’s suggestion. I was wrong and now am hoping he falls, too.

One thing that bothered me about Karlaftis was the lack of production this year. I believe he only had 4 sacks.

Then I saw that he had a ton of pressures and was PFF’s highest grades pass rusher this year.
