I think i'm in the small group leaning towards going up for a WR. I know it's not popular but i really don't want to see this WR group with a rookie that's only 50-50 to work out

Agreed. I want a star to replace Tyreek, fastest way to forget he's gone is to replace him.

I love this! I’m a jameson homer but I like getting a dt early as long as it isn’t Jones. I like Winfrey at dt from Oklahoma but I’m not sure he’s worth a 1st round pick. I love Williams de in the 2nd. I’m not a clowney fan but he’s probably our best option at this point.

Trading up for a WR sounds good, until i really look at them. There are some really good recievers but i just dont see any one guy worth going up for because i just dont see a massive drop off or a major stand out i guess. Then you factor in that said reciever will probably be lucky to see 50% of snaps in Reids offense, it just doesnt make sense.

I've been playing with the simulators all morning and I really think we're taking a WR early.
The wave 1 and 2 guys all go off the board before 50. The DE's, on the other hand, last well into the 3rd round many times. If we want a guy like Sanders or Ebikite, they'll be there later. |

I agree. I did trade back a couple of times to pick up a couple more picks. I just did this simulated draft: pfn-logo-black KC 32. Drake London WR USC trade icon KC 36. Perrion Winfrey DT Oklahoma trade icon KC 50. David Ojabo EDGE Michigan KC 62. George Pickens WR Georgia KC 66. Arnold Ebiketie EDGE Penn State trade icon KC 67. Chad Muma LB Wyoming trade icon KC 94. Nik Bonitto EDGE Oklahoma

Awesome! Thank you for posting these WR highlights!
From what I can tell, here are my optimistic pro comparisons WR J Williams = Tyreek/Waddle’like (ACL) WR G Wilson = OBJ’ish WR D London = Keenan Allen/Michael Thomas’sort WR C Olave = Taller-Tyler Locket WR T Burks = DK Metcalf-Lite WR J Dotson = Landry/E Sanders’type I really love Williams, and think he will fall behind Wilson & London due to injury which gives us a shot at him. London would bring something different for us, but he doesn't get as much separation as the other guys on film. I'm really impressed with T Burks combination of size and speed! I could 100% see us staying put and taking him at #29. I'm for trading up to get J Williams or staying put and taking T Burks! |
