thoughts about the game.

Oh **** that was close lordy. A few things.

Herbert in the second half we were going to destroy him. Why didn't they keep chase in the game.

clark and jones god they got pissed. They were going to kill herbert on live tv. Plus love seeing furious george out there.

Patrick played well despite mack and bosa they were both on him big time. They played so well.

Finally loved that on 3rd down they play the purge horn. I was like oh **** don't let Clark and Jones hear that herbert was the first person purged.

The DL obliterating Herbert in the second half was nice to see. Had they played with that level of aggression in the AFCCG, we would’ve won that.

We can talk about bad decisions by the Chargers, but we made our fair share as well.

Both teams are good. Chiefs were just a little bit better.

Also, the run defense was MUCH improved again. 8 yards was the longest run allowed.

3.1 yards per carry. Ekeler was under 3.

My thoughts:

Offensive play calling was awful on second down. Pat was making bad decisions, and got lucky with dropped INTs.

Defensive line got zero pressure in the first half and Herbert had all day. They made halftime adjustments and put Herbert on his back. This team will be so much better when our Dline can win.

Chiefs got lucky tonight., Consider it karma for the superbowl against the bucs.

Our early third down play calling was shit.
Willie gay was on fire, then cold, then serviceable.
Clyde new he could t outrun the d and layed up.
Watson might be the great white hope, we refused to use juju who was open a few times.
Failing fast with rookies is working out so far. Fast confused athletes> slow smart ones

Really wish this team would figure out an identity when they decide to run the football rather than being matchup oriented.
