Friday night Baseball update:

It was just a fortnight ago, when a beer guzzling Phillies fan was taking liberty with my Athletics, mocking them, their management, and most especially, their few diehard fans.

Oh sure the Phillies won that game, and the drunkard had his fun, but that was not at the cost of incurring my extra special contra mojo. Since that night, Phillies are 2-9, the Athletics are 10-1. I shoulda got the dudes email so I can throw that now useless smack shit back in his face.

Not to be the useless homer, I parried his attacks by stating, "How many WS have the Phillies won in yours or my lifetime? "But you just look at the past he says".

I say, "Fine, how bout the last 5 years?" How many divisions have the Phillies won?" So he says this year, how bout this year? Where are you guys going, and where are my awesome Phillies.

I point out, with no homerism I would like to believe, that the A's would be 6 under 500 by the end of June and a respectable 500 by the end of July. They are ahead of that right now, but hey, I am realistic, with the kind of May they had, 500 would make me happy right now.

As Phil Jackson would say, "He who crows the loudest, eats the biggest crow." Enjoy the mojo you created Ahole!, whoever you are.


Tonight: League leading record, Chicago White Sox are in Oaktown to face the red hot, and Streaking Athletics.
