Yes sir.
Skinny's (Huntoon and Gage) is a good mix of old and young. They usually do raffles for Chiefs games, for t-shirts, glasses, and other prizes. Best Hot wings i've ever had, too. Jeremiah Bullfrogs (29th and Wanamaker) or Bullfrogs Live (Huntoon & Gage). I like LIVE better, as it is much larger. Heart Attack Jacks (right off the turnpike, on south topeka blvd) is supposed to be OK too. Finally, PIGSKINS is pretty good too. Its in the shopping center at 29th and Oakley, which is in between Burlingame and Washburn. Good ribs.

Carl Peterson said on his radio show the Chiefs front office are still trying to get the NFL to allow the game to be shown in Wichita and will be working on this all day tomorrow.
CP said the rule preventing the game to be shown in Wichita is the 75-mile radius rule the defines a home market. He said the rule is designed to protect east coast teams but isn't practical in areas of the country where teams draw from larger areas. |
