FF Championship - lineup choices

Apologies if repost, hadn't seen anything. Also apologies for the long winded question, but w/out details, you may not see any dilemma.

Post your Title game lineup questions here.

My choice is b/n QBs, Vick or Favre. And before you automatically say "Vick sucks", read further.

All TDs 6 pts.

Passing points awarded:

1 pt / 20 yds
1 pt / 5 completions
Bonus ranges from 1-5 points for comp. %, tiered up from > 60% (usually not in play for Vick).

> 80% = 5
> 75% = 4
> 70% = 3
> 65% = 2
> 60% = 1

Rushing points awarded:

1 pt / 10 yards
1 pt / 5 attempts
Bonus ranges 2-10 (5 tiers, 2,4,etc.), for yds/carry avg, with a minimum 7 attempts, tiered from >4.0 to >6.0. This is where Vick is a stud in this league, 3rd highest scorer overall this year.

> 6.0 = 10
> 5.5 = 8
> 5.0 = 6
> 4.5 = 4
> 4.0 = 2

Last week I was concerned about the Dallas D being ticked off after the spankin from New Orleans, also both Falcon RBs were iffy, all of which caused great doubt about Vick. Favre meanwhile, was playing at home vs. Detroit. Seemed a no brainer. Vick = 54, Favre = 5. Somehow, I survived and advanced.

Now Vick has a groin issue, an obvious concern when his rushing points are typically what makes him a great scorer, w/out them he's typically a chump QB. Except last week of course, when I benched the #3 league scorer. Nice... Favre meanwhile, has yet another tasty matchup at home vs. Minnesota.

So, what would you do?

I would go with Favre. Vick could very well pull a Fred Taylor and re-injure himself while scrambling. Favre in a prime time divisional game usually doesn't disappoint.

Thanks for the input Bill. And yeah, thanks for the Fred Taylor mention, he was in my lineup last week for my other league, which I got knocked out vs. Peyton, LT, Wayne, had no chance really.

I f-ed up so bad last week with over-analysis. Needed some objective opinions.

This one's for 3 titles in a row, so I sure don't want to go down cause of another over-analysis screw-up.

All depends on the system. In my 'for fun' league, yes, he sucks very much. But this one I'm talking about, he's been $ most every week, with only a couple exceptions. But it's because of the rushing, how much do you all feel he's gonna be running with a groin injury?

Is Vick a QB? I didn't think he could complete a pass over 5 yards to anyone other than his TE.

Addai is questionable right now, so make sure you follow his status.

I just hope he finds Jennings again for at least one score and 50+ yards

If Vick practices all week I would start him.

I'm the 6th seed going to the Title Game Sunday, against the #1 seed - he has LT and I seem to have a decent enough roster, but LT is going to kill me!

My current lineup:

Grossman @ Detroit
Reggie Wayne
Javon Walker
Ladell Betts @STL, haha
Jones-Drew vs NE
Tony G
Jeff Reed (K)
Jacksonville - D vs NE

Available
Willie Parker vs Baltimore
Jerricho Cotchery @ Miami
Edgerrin James @ San Francisco
Jeff Garcia @ Dallas

Dallas - D vs Philly

Any ideas, should I switch out anyone?

Keep an eye on Javon Walker. He had a shoulder injury and should be able to play, but make sure to follow the updates. Other than that, I think you have the right lineup.
