Our Defensive Line
I'm rewatching the Chargers game tonight, and in the first half, LT broke a run to the left side for a gain of about 20 yards. He exploded through the LOS, made a LB miss and Greg Wesley finally had the angle on him a ways down the field.
But as I watched the replay, I noticed that a couple players were in pursuit of LT: Tamba Hali and Tank Tyler. If Wesley had failed to bring him down but at least slow him down, Hali may corral him in 20 yards down the field. This is unusual, isn't it? DLmen pursuing 20 yards down the field, especially with the surprising speed that players like Hali and Tyler have? It's great to have a defense again. This is what KC's all about. |
