Mizzou will be in the top 5 next week. USC will be #1 team no doubt after this weekend as well.

It'll start getting interesting soon. In 2 weeks Georgia plays @ #15 ASU, #7 LSU plays @ #9 Auburn and Florida plays @ Tennessee.

Unfortunately, Oklahoma doesn't play a real game until October 11.

Big 12 could have five teams in the top 10 after next week if KU handles business down in south florida.

Nobody must have noticed their non-conference schedule last year either. They played an even more cupcake non-conference schedule than KU did, and nobody gave them shit about it like they did KU. KU lost to MISSOURI only, played in a better conference than OSU, and yet nobody cared.

God I hate this BCS shit. If a team comes out, and ****s up in their first game, which they could be rusty for, they are screwed.

Oh, and I win 12 straight games in NCAA 08 with my only loss coming to the #1 team, played while I was gone so mt opponent got to play the CPU.

Not saying that I should have been in the NC game because 2 teams did go undefeated, just that I could beat those teams, but since there is absolutely no playoff, everyone else is screwed. Do you guys think this will ever change? I have a hard time believing that more money would not be generated by making bowl games into playoff games.

I know for a fact that more people would watch college football if this were the case.

Tennessee might be able to get a hight enough ranking after this first game to make a playoff, but there's no hope of making the NC AFTER THE FIRST GAME. It just kills it for me. I would have watched every game with a passion if there was hope of some sort of playoff. Now the whole thing is just like Meh. Unless we're playing The big dogs, and even then the victories are awesome, but there's no end result. Yay lets play in the Nokia cell phone Bowl

Apparently you missed the 500 or so times I referred to them as "Kansas East."

Don't get all upset over nothing. Tennessee will have minimum of 4-5 losses by the end of the year.
