People who've had root canals...
... and for the first 5 years of not having any feeling in the nerve-less tooth begin to have painful sensitivity to any cold (or warm) liquid (air included)? This comes after a few weeks of me having the unshakable thought that I felt it shift in my upper jaw as well.

What should I do?

My brother-in-law is an endodontist in Des Moines, I can ask him. I may not have an answer until tomorrow though.

It is most likely referred pain from a nearby tooth. Or, it could be that when the original root canal was done, a canal was missed. This second option is unlikely, particularly if it was done by an endodontist. Anyhow, go see your dentist. They will take an x ray and figure it out for you.

maybe they didnt get it all. happened to me twice. infection is the next step.
