Most Unlikable Baseball Player Tournament - Round 3, Heat 4

Please vote for the two players you dislike the most in each heat. Feel free to give reasons (words, pictures, videos, etc.) why this player is unlikable, as it may not always be immediately evident and you may persuade others to join in your disdain of douchey players. Four players who advanced from the first two rounds will be chosen randomly for each heat, and the top two will go to the Elite Eight in round four.

ROUND 3, HEAT 4 (FINAL HEAT OF ROUND 3)

Jose Bautista (Orioles, Rays, Royals, Pirates, Blue Jays)

Unlikable Traits:
- Constantly whines to umpires about everything. Can be seen five minutes after he strikes out still yelling at the umpire from the dugout.
- Known for his excessive bat flipping, stare-downs, and general cockiness.
- Faked out Royals fans by pretending to throw them a ball in the playoffs and then holding on to it (has also done this to other teams' fans).
- Threw his teammate under the bus for not catching a pop-up that was clearly his.
- Slid into Rougned Odor with no intention of touching second base. Proceeded to get up and pretend he wanted to fight before getting clocked by Odor. Then he had the nerve to call the Rangers "cowardly" after the game.










Jonathan Pabelbon (Red Sox, Phillies, Nationals)

Unlikable Traits:
- Was ejected and suspended for throwing at Manny Machado's head.
- While exiting a game after blowing a save, he grabbed his crotch toward fans who were booing him.
- Attempted to grab his own teammate's throat in the dugout during a game.
- Takes forever prancing around the around the mound and trying to be intimidating when coming into a game.
- Claimed he should close the 2008 All-Star Game instead of Mariano Rivera.









Carlos Gomez (Mets, Twins, Brewers, Astros)


Unlikable traits:
-Known for excessive bat-flipping and showboating.
-Once taunted the entire Braves team and yapped his mouth all the way around the bases after hitting in a home run, prompting a brawl when he arrived at home plate.
-Once rounded the bases on a home run. Except the ball was foul.
-Once tried to break his bat on his knee not one, not two, but THREE times after a strike out. Failed all three times, so he just threw it on the ground and proceeded a bat-less tantrum.






Brett Lawrie (Blue Jays, A's, White Sox)

Unlikable traits:
- Is the ultimate "bro."
- Douchey player is attracted to douchey teams - has played for Blue Jays, A's, and White Sox.
- Involved in multiple brawls and altercations on the field. Videos forthcoming.
- Seems to have a bad case of roid rage.
- Seriously thinks it's cool to have fangs in his mouth while he plays baseball.
- Called his high school P.E. teacher a "big baby" who has "0 class" on Twitter because he let a star basketball player, Brent Malish, take more shots than Lawrie. This well-constructed insult happened seven years later, when Lawrie was already a professional athlete and was apparently still upset that he wasn't the star basketball player in 10th grade.
- Malish's uncle came to his defense on Twitter, Lawrie told him to "go play on Facebook" and called him a douche.

- Threw his helmet at an umpire because he didn't like a strike call. Was suspended four games. After the game, he said, "it took a bad hop and it hit him totally by accident. I never meant to throw it at him." See video below and judge for yourself.
