I’m flying to Maui on July 28th this will be our 4th trip to Maui.

1. Snorkeling at Molokini crater.
2. Sunrise at Haleakala.
3. Road to Hana
4. Old Lahaina Luau
5. Day trip to Lanai
6. Helicopter tour of the Island. (Only way to see some of the best waterfalls on the Island)

Everything on Maui rules. Do and go wherever and you won't be disappointed. LoneWolf's list is certainly solid. Try to spend a full day at Kaanapali beach. Set no alarms, sleep with all windows open. Try Spam Musubi and Manapua at least once.

The helicopter tours are amazing. The road to Hana is not a quick journey. Might be worthwhile to check in advance and make sure there's no traffic delays or construction. Dramamine should be made available, especially for passengers. Try a sunset dinner cruise on a small boat. You won't see many whales this time of year, but it is still awesome. Good pakalolo.

This is what I did during my several times to Maui and all GREAT. I also played golf and did a hike to a secluded waterfall through a bamboo forest, which was awesome.

Great good advice LoneWolf!

This is a great list. I was in Maui at the beginning on June. It’s beautiful. I’d add taking a trip over to the blowhole. That was rather impressive. If you do make it to Haleakala for sunrise, make sure you bycicle back down the volcano.

I like Kauai but I also hate rain on my vacation. So I’ll stick with Maui for a much less chance of rain every single day.

I just stay on the beach now because I’ve already seen most of the island but LoneWolf’s list is great for the first few visits.

Maui is FABULOUS. I've been to four Hawaiian islands and it's easily my favorite.

That said, I'd skip Hana highway. It sorta sounds cool at first, but at the end I wasn't thrilled I spent all that time driving on a ridiculously windy road. Why? So I can buy a t-shirt that says "I survived the Hana Highway"? Yeah, meh. So much awesomeness so you pick that? I wasn't thrilled with that choice.

Been a few years since I've been, but hit up The Gazebo (NW Maui) - get there early for breakfast.

If playing golf, Waiehu Golf Course is the oldest muni course on the island. Pretty affordable and fantastic views. Kind of get both looks at the island, as 9 of the holes are on the ocean and the other 9 is kind of hilly in the mountain

you need to get all the way to the end. The Seven Pools of Oheo was my favorite thing from, all 3 islands when i visited (Maui, Kuai, Honolulu).
