Looking over this list, kccrow, answer me this.

All things being equal, knowing that we can't know who is on the board at 31, grade the following hypothetical draft picks the Chiefs hypothetically make at 31:

RB Devon Achane, Texas A&M
WR Quenton Johnston, TCU
WR Tyler Scott, Cincinnati
DT Calijah Kancey, Pittsburgh
DT Mazi Smith, Michigan
DE Lukas Van Ness, Iowa
DE Keoin White, Georgia Tech

Again, all things being equal.

These are some guys I've waffled on as a good pick at 31, wanted to know your thoughts.

Surprises all over the place.

Every mock I see, every mock machine draft I run, has guys like three rounds different all over the draft.

I don't know what the **** to think. First rounder here, fourth rounder over there. What the ****?

I'll also just mention, this is the farthest down a respectable draft board I've seen Andre Carter, by like 50 slots.

A 6'7" monster with plus athleticism, great work ethic, and maximal coachability? At 88?

Is Mazi Smith a mid first rounder or a fourth rounder? Is Foskey a mid first rounder or a third rounder? Carter? Anton Harrison? I mean what the actual ****?

I felt like I was starting to get a handle on general value, but the last week or so I think I'm in the Twilight Zone.

I have literally no idea anymore. Every different outlet has a totally different board. It's like none of these players are the same guys.

Man, I just can't convince myself that Jalen Carter is a better prospect than Will Anderson.

I keep seeing it, but I must be missing something because I'd take Anderson over him every time.

I have literally no idea anymore. Every different outlet has a totally different board. It's like none of these players are the same guys.
Was just asking your estimation, if you had a take on any of these guys.

That's the first time I've seen Jaxon Smith-Njigba that low, at least in relation to the other WRs.

Brugler seems to see a pretty soft WR class.

NFL Draft Buzz has Tyler Scott out of Cincinnati as their #23 WR.

Not #23 prospect overall. #23 wide receiver.

I'm sorry, but what the hell. This guy has 4.2 speed and highpoints the ball. He's Tyreek Hill in this offense.

If the Chiefs took him at 31, I'd be running loops around my house.

Well, I was starting to feel like I did, but in the last week or so, every scouting report I read on almost every player that is a possibility is so completely different that it doesn't seem they're talking about the same guy at all even.

And guys are mocked three rounds different from place to place.

There's always some variance but it really seems like this year in particular nobody knows what the **** to think about anybody.

I run mocks, I kind of look at positions I'd like to improve at for KC, and read various scouting reports on guys, and then go watch some video, and kind of come to an opinion of my own. But right now, I can't get past step two of that process because reports are so all over the place.

I felt like I was starting to get a handle on general value, but the last week or so I think I'm in the Twilight Zone.
I feel like this might be our guy. Maybe not in the first, but if he's there in the 2nd, even within tradeup range, he feels like a really nice fit.

But like you, I can't get a feel for his draft projection at all.

I was really thinking so, but I'm seeing him anywhere from low first to late third.

I mean, what the ****?
