New season of “Quarterback” on Netflix

Coming this summer.

Obviously it won’t be as interesting without Mahomes since he carried the first version of the show.

I guess people could relate to Cousins and he was ****ing wholesome, but for such a documentary he's just so.... boring.

Taking days off mid-week, his wife saying "she wouldn't know what she'd do without that day off from football," his absolute awkwardness on the field...... it's like if the writers of The Office did a satire documentary of NFL players like they were average corporate drones.

Disagree, I thought Cousins' goody two shoes persona was hilarious in contrast with the other players. He's a churchy mama's boy of a dork, but he can poke fun at himself. The surprise appearance at the awards show was great.

Now Mariota on the other hand, THAT dude is boring. He has ZERO personality. Nothing even slightly entertaining happened on his segments for the entire show. I still can't understand why they put him in front of a camera.

Hell yes. Everything about him was boring and bland. I found myself feeling sorry for him for being such a ****ing dork that was too awkward to have friends.

Yeah, Mariota was awful.... less personality than Cousins and seemed by far the least motivated of the three (Mariota's wife: ok dear, let's go over your flash cards again... ).

I totally get why they have Cousins back... he's relatable. That's kind of the problem though, IMO... I want to know MORE about how Mahomes makes himself so ****ing elite. That's a goldmine of information we don't normally have access to.

IMO, if you watch one Cousins segment, you've watched them all.... I wouldn't learn anything more by watching him or probably be surprised how he handled going to Atlanta, etc.

Yeah, but we saw that. How many more times do we need to see Cousin’s forever-empty Lombardi shelf in his trophy room, or his wife telling him he did his best even though it wasn’t enough? It was clear the first time he was a journeyman family man. Give us a new shtick.

It's been clear since Michigan State. Cousins isn't elite and never was

Most boring was Mariota...his wife and Chef were more interesting.

Trevor Lawrence has been one of the biggest busts in the NFL and has gotten a free pass.

Not sure how except the Jags get little coverage. Like a forgotten franchise.

The whole deal is ****ing strange.

Davante was a huge crybaby. He was on the sidelines saying “I need to get out of here before I lose my ****ing life” because Jimmy G was throwing him some bad passes lol drama queen

That would be too revealing possibly. Those fun characters are always ruined with deeper dives.

At least they have a bit of variety by getting a shitty QB like Cousins and an average one like Burrow.

I never bothered watching the Receiver doc that was jam packed full of All-Pros. Had they pick any one of our terrible WRs not named Rashee Rice in 2023 it would have been compelling TV.
