Tanoh Kpassagnon signs with the Saints
Hey y’all, resident Saints fan here. I just saw that the Saints are signing a former Chief Tanoh Kpassagnon. What can we expect from him? Is he just depth?

More career postseason sacks than Aaron Donald and Chris Jones combined.
Weird stats of the day.

If you're looking for a guy who can lineup and occupy a blocker while making absolutely no impact whatsoever, you've found him.

He started 15 games on a DL with Chris Jones and Frank Clark and had one sack.
That's about all you need to know. Look like Tarzan, play like Jane.

Mostly agree, although when I first saw him in action I never thought he would see the field at all in meaningful situations. He progressed to at least "meh" when I wasn't sure if he would ever be an active participant.

Whoa. Somehow I didn't even know that he was in play.
I had high hopes for him when he finally got the starting job. I thought he was going to be a major breakout player and he made great strides forward that first season as a starter. But then he stalled. As mentioned earlier, he became a guy who would tie up a blocker effectively and never make a play. I can't quite figure it out - he's got amazing measureables and a great motor, but he never seems to beat his guy and find the ball.
