So PFF is running a live draft recap on youtube..

I put it on cause well I got nothing going on this morning and I get this...

This Chiefs draft....they panicked to take Hardman because of Hill when if they are trying to replace that skillset it's criminal Hardman is being drafted ahead of Isabella.

We like Thornhill good pick, Saunders..eh...

Then it's a 5 minute diatribe about how it's really ****ed up they didn't take a CB because every CB on this roster is trash other than Fuller and he should never play outside.

Our draft from last year is also trash and while the run D might be a little better any good QB is gonna kick the shit out of us.

I'll start to worry about the CB group if Veach doesn't trade for a veteran. Until then...I look at that group as an "incomplete" grade.

The LB group is what worries me. My only assumption with that group is that we're going to be running a ton of nickle looks with two LBs on the field.

I think it’s pretty obvious that the NFL thought more highly of Hardman than the media and fans.

I keep hearing that Hardman was a reach when he reportedly wouldn’t have made it to 61 because the Jets would’ve made a move for him.

And it makes sense. The guy just turned 21 and he has all the tools to develop into a DJax type player in this offense.

I don’t know how anybody could not like the Saunders pick.

That last part is just ****ing reeruned. We’re still better off at corner than we were this time last year, and like Pest, I don’t believe we’re done.

Yeah, I think the front four is really good and the secondary is going to be decent. The linebackers are a huge unknown, with no history to give me confidence. I hope they surprise me.

Isabella is a midget who is an inch shorter with an inch shorter arms than Hardman. He’s also a chest catcher per his draft profile, which is a big no no for me.

Hardman is a natural pass catcher, which makes sense bc he was a corner before he played WR.

He’s also got a higher ceiling bc he just started playing receiver and can grow.

Yea they don't think so...going so far as to point out the loss of Nelson and say Breeland is a bum anyone could have had up until week 6 last year.

Cowboys gave up Ward for a backup OG, shows you what they think of him.

Comments like that.

Everyone who says Hardman was a reach is immediately disqualified from consideration. Hardman LITERALLY was going there, whether we took him or Philly did. Veach and Reid liked him, he was the guy they wanted, so they had to take him right there or not at all.

So a Super Bowl winning staff, and an AFCCG staff both wanted the guy, and they wanted him in the top half of the second.

If you're the kind of guy that wants to argue about 10-15 spots in a round as being a 'reach' then you don't really understand the concepts of team and scheme fit.

Everyone else is just throwing a fit because they got emotionally attached to a guy they liked; but they're not scouts and need to get over it.

I liked Hardman; there were guys I liked that went UDFA. So, what do you know? Apparently I'm no NFL scout either. Go figure.

Well sounds like they’re idiots who’s opinions shouldn’t be taken seriously.

But Isabella is gritty. High motor. Character guy.

Two drafts in a row where we didn't take a cornerback because the board just didn't work out. We going to take that same method into the 2020 draft and ignore cornerback again? What about tight end? We're a Travis kelce injury away from having nobody at tight end. We're also probably looking at another Scandrick type of signing at corner, and we know how that turned out last year. Some people are suggesting we trade for someone. I don't know, I'd like to finally have our full allotment of draft picks for a change.

What I hate about draft recaps is that they always seem to significantly base their draft rankings on where you drafted. Of ****ing course if you get multiple top 20 picks you're more likely to have improved in the draft.
