Holy SHIT.
I'm sorry, but that is like THE BEST situation for the Chiefs to be in. Now not only is one of the group of Gholston, Ellis, Long, and Dorsey going to fall to us, the Chiefs won't even have to consider Long and it'll get the OT Or Bust assholes off our backs around here. |

Don't read too much into this. They will also talk to the other Long as well as Gholston.

That should settle some of the draft into place now. Looks like Atlanta will be the turning point now between Ryan and Dorsey.

That said, how does that alter things for you?
Since Miami will take Jake, I can't see the Rams passing on Chris. Falcons are a question mark still. Do they go DT? Do they opt for Ryan or are they bound for spending a 2nd on Henne or Flacco? They're probably not going McFadden due to signing Michael Turner. I'm guessing they go with Dorsey. I don't think the Raiders are stupid enough to go for McFadden, but I do think they are seduced by athleticism and I'm willing to bet they opt for Gholston. Making Ellis, essentially, ours. Unless we reach for Brandon Albert. |

Goes - Long and Long, Falcons nab Ryan, Fade take Ellis, and Chiefs grap Dorsey.

They will try to get close to a deal with him and then call the next guy on their list and offer to take him at a reduced price.

Atlanta passes because they, like the rest of the NFL for some reason, loves Joe Flacco and knows he'll be there atop the 2nd. |
