...or thought rock, slow rock, etc...

With bands and singers like like Damien Rice, Red House Painters, Gary Jules, Jeremy Enigk, The Fire Theft, Staind, etc...

Nope.

No more than Jim Croce, Cat Stephens, or Peter Gabriel. But there does seem to be more of a move towards songwriting and slow rock/music.

Oh, I forgot Coldplay as well...




(Note: If you havent listened to The Red House Painters or Jeremy Enigk I'd highly recomend them...)

Iron and Wine is amazing.

Red House Painters is great as well. I am not quite sure how Stained fits in the category.
