Not so insightful analysis from the fins board
I saw this and had to laugh. I hope Saban & company have the same take... That said, some of the analysis is accurate.
Keep doubting Derrick Johson! "My take on the Game -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Advantages The SecondaryOur weakness becomes our stregnth. KC's WRs are going to be the worse group (talent wise) we have faced all year. The only WR that could beat us is Kennison. Tight Ends McMike, Diamond, and Heller can all catch the ball. Sammy is great in run support for KC, but as we all know, struggles in coverage(as does Woods). Wesley is nothing to write home about O-LineOutside of Jared Allen, The D-Line for the chiefs is sub-par. If we can get any leverage, Ronnie and Ricky should have great days. BlockingGoes along with the OL. KC's LBs don't take on blocks very well. SpeedKC's corners aren't good tacklers (inlcuding Pat), and their safeties are slow. Get our recievers into the open field, and we should be ok. Disadvantages D-LineKC's OL Is one of the best in the league. We'll have trouble getting to Green, and LJ/Priest will have holes to run through. LJ/PriestThey'll run all over us, and we have to accept that. Gonzo Gonzo is still one of the best TEs in the game, and Crowder will probably be covering him Key to Winning 1.Make the WRs beat us 2.Use the TEs in the pass game 3.RUN THE BALL As I said, the DL will struggle in this game, but we should not be too worried about Kennison/Parker/Horn. DJ and Bell both try and go around blocks (especially DJ). If we can get Heath or another FB up to them in the running game we should succeed. Another key fact!!! Cunningham likes to blitz. If we get the ball to our WRs on quick slants, they'll have a lot of room to run." Last edited by T-post Tom; 10-20-2005 at 08:20 PM.. |
