Should Lions & Cowboys keep the Thanksgiving "dynasty?"

It's been discussed amongst owners, most notably Lamar, that the game should rotate venues throughout the league.

Now, that's an interesting idea, however, this will be the 61st straight year the Lions will be hosting a Thanksgiving day game, and I like the tradition.

I could care less if they keep it in Dallas. Anything to stick it to Jerry Jones.

Any thoughts?

I have been of the opinion for years that the Lions, since they were the first, should continue their traditional Thanksgiving day game, but the Cowboys should lose theirs, so that an AFC team could host a game.

I really mean no disrespect towards you, I consider myself one of your biggest fans on this board.

That being said, I didn't create this topic as a political thread. I don't want to get involved in all of the discussions going on in the 10 or so active political threads that already exist.

This was supposed to be about football.

Now, what's your honest opinion?

Keep it in Detroit. Dallas who cares! Or better yet Detroit can play Dallas every Turkey day and they can have 2 other teams play.

Keep the traditional Detroit game and move the other one to a rotating AFC host.

I think each of the two Superbowl teams should host.

I.E. St. Louis and Titans for 2000, etc.
