Mr. Goodcents?

So, being a KC native, and moving back to Springfield I was nothing short of ELATED to find out the Cents is alive and kicking here in Springfield.

So I ask all of you out there: are you guys are down with Mr.Goodcents? Truthfully, if I'm gonna eat out and I've got the money in my pocket, I'm going there.

If you don't, WHY NOT!?! I can't fathom why, but you have to have a reason.

There's one here in Emporia, but I'd rather take Quiznos or Planet Sub any day.

Mr. Goodcents is awesome, their sandwiches are a hell of a lot bigger than Subway. They dont have "6 inch" and "12 inch", I dont know how big the sandwiches actually are, but if you order their whole sandwich expecting to get a 12 inch, you better be hungry or prepared to stick the uneaten portion in the fridge for later.

The pasta is cool, too.

8" and 16" Respectively

The meat is freshly sliced (while you're there), along with the 6 different cheese selections. Oh yeah, they also have the softest bread, IMO.

the bread is fucking awesome.

but I don't live close to one, so I usually eat at Subway or Quiznos (the few times I eat out)

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that. When I ate at subway I didnt know any better, but when I went to Mr. Goodcents, I thought the fact that they grab a huge hunk of meat and cheese to slice some fresh for you was a nice touch. With subway, who the hell knows how long their pre-sliced stuff has been laying around, or if they even slice at the store?

My friend worked at the good cents in springfield. He said sometimes that meat would sit in the truck all day in the heat and he knew it where that meat would be. He had to stop himself from laughing whenever people are like "look honey freshly cut" nevermind the fact that they dropped the entire load of meat on the ground in the back

Mr. Goodcents is my favorite sub shop. I was in OP (where my dad lives) about a month ago and ate their at least three times. It's fantastic!

Floors taste good. Just don't kid yourself in thinking that doesn't happen anywhere else.

I'm partial to Subway, but they have an italian sausage sub that is really good. The chicken bacon ranch is pretty good, too. Otherwise, I really haven't eaten there that often. Scale of 10...7.

Subway is good. Jimmy John's is pretty good, but it's easy to get sick of.

You know what DOES suck about KC is the ****ing poker rooms at the casinos. 3/6 limit is a ****ing joke, and it's impossible to get a 10/20 game going...****.
