Tell us why your team will beat the Chiefs here:

So far, it has been noted that Damon Huard has a higher QB rating than Alex Smith, as well as completing about 12% more of his passes. Damon Huard and Alex Smith both use their RB's as their #1 option in the passing game.

So, first rule: Stating Huard as the reason the 49ers will beat the Chiefs will not be accepted.

Also...the 49ers were trailing by 14 against Arizona, 7 against St. Louis, and 28 against Philadelphia. Chiefs fans, what do you predict the largest defecit the 49ers will face against us tomorrow? 49ers fans, feel free to chime in on this one as well. I say 20.

Considering we may well have The Trent Green Memorial Expressway at LT tomorrow, I'll say 7.

Our OL will open lanes for Gore to run and give Smith time to find Bryant, Battle, and Johnson downfield. Mrob will punch the ball over the line for the score.

Our DL, LBs, and Safeties will put pressure on Huard to where he's going to make some mistakes that will hurt, and will at least contain LJ from reaking havoc. Shutting him down completely is not realistic.

THAT'S why I like the Niner's chances.

Hooties has a better chance of learning the game of football then the Chiefs winning by 20. You have to be the biggest Homer on the whole MB.

Westbrook 8 carries 117 yards...I like LJ's chances.

Gore is playing hurt, Michael Robinson played QB in college...I like our chances. (Not to mention we have a strong rush defense)

Smith has a 55% completion percentage, throws for most of his yards when the team is losing, and has 4 career TD passes, and is playing on the road...I like our chances.

The 49ers will have a bunch of 3 and outs meaning LJ is going to get plenty of touches...I like our chances.
