What a freaky movie, man. Wow. Lots of shooting of innocent people, bare Caucasian women's breasts, and green bread.

The special effects are kind of dated, though. That's why I wish they would do a remake of this movie. Since our season is sort of on the ropes and we've almost filled out the entire "where did this player come from?" thread, I thought I would ask the one question that is on everyone's mind.

What movie would you like to see remade with all the new, crazy technolgies available to today's filmmakers?

One movie per poster, please. I wouldn't want to see this highly interesting thread go over 100 posts for Mr. Skip Towne's sake.

Zardoz -- one of my fav cult classics. For some reason, I've always been drawn to that movie. Maybe it's Sean Connery in a diaper.

John Boorman had to have been dropping acid.

That's him, Mr. Baby Lee. Smuggled into the vector or whatever in a giant, flying head.

I'd like to see Sam Raimi or someone of his caliber have a shot at the remake. I don't know who would play Sean's role, though. Maybe the guy in Sin City who tried to bury the guy's head in the tar pits but it didn't work.

An 85-year-old man went to his doctor's office to get his prostate and other parts checked out. The doctor gave the man a jar and said, "Take this jar home and bring back a semen sample tomorrow."

The next day the 85-year-old man reappeared at the doctor's office and gave him the jar, which was as clean and empty as on the previous day.

The doctor asked what happened and the man explained: "Well, doc, it's like this -- first I tried with my right hand, but nothing. Then I tried with my left hand, but still nothing. Then I asked my wife for help. She tried with her right hand, then her left, still nothing. She tried with her mouth, first with the teeth in, then with her teeth out and still nothing. We even called up Arleen, the lady next door, and she tried, too, first with both hands, then an armpit and she even tried squeezing' it between her knees, but still nothing."

The doctor was shocked, "You asked your neighbor?!"

The old man replied, "Yep...

None of us could get the jar open!"
