Rivals has Utah safety Eric Weddle going to the Chiefs in round two. I don't think the Chiefs should pick another safety early in the draft.

Okoye willl never make it to the Chiefs, but I would love it.

As for Weddle, I agree, unless reports that the Chiefs are looking to convert Pollard to LB are true.

I wouldnt have any problem with that at all, but is he closer to 290 or 305???

Its also dumb to level the "disappointing" accusation at the entire front 4, the disappointment rests solely with the DT's.

I believe he was 287 at the Senior Bowl.

Couldn't argue with that pick.

According to their mock, Brown & Jarrett are gone so Okoye would be my next favorite pick.

Really interesting prospect. Still hard to believe he has 4 years of collage experience and is only 19.

Thanks, i was thinking he was probably on the lighter side & if he's as talented as everyone seems to think i wouldnt utter a peep of complaint.

As long as we keep a BIG BRUISER type next to him.

One of the better DTs over the last 25 years or so was John Randall, and he only weighed in at around 285.

I'd love to get a DT like that.

I totally agree, a guy with a top notch motor & athletic skills can hold his own with & beat Bulk Bogan O linemen.

But my personal preferance would be to have 1 Okoye type & 1 space-eater to tie up blockers & allow the MLB to run free.

If this guy can approximate John Randall, then by all means, lets hope it goes down like this mock says.

I haven't heard this before. Where did you hear that the Chiefs were thinking about Pollard at LB?

I think he is a little light to be a LB but it would be a interesting move.

BTW, thanks.

It would be interesting, and he would have to put on about 10 lbs, but I like the idea of a head hunter at safety, so I'm not really behind the idea.

They have Ryan Harris going right before us in the second round. That's my pick for our second rounder, hope he's available.
