March 8, Kansas City head coach Herm Edwards flew into Las Vegas for a personal meeting with Wright. He will have another workout at 10 a.m. on March 23 at UNLV.

I don't like his baggage but all reports suggest he has cleaned up his act and became a honor student at UNLV. He's been moving into the early 2nd/late 1st range.

It would make for interesting discussion if the Chiefs pick him in the 1st.

4.23 shuttle for a corner isn't that great. I think the short shuttle is the most important test meter for football players, considering they say that 85% of football is played in a 20 by 20 box. That's about as picky as I can get, I've never seen the guy play. Having said that, if there's one thing Herm knows, it's DB's so I trust his judgment

He was a very solid player at USC. Haven't seen a lot of him at UNLV.

Still remember him giving Jason White fits in the Blowout Bowl.

Maybe. With the rape accusation, the 100+ X pills found in his apartment, and the fact that he might be considered a reach. I'd say it would generate a bit of a stir.

A freak of an athlete, I have been high on him for awhile. That said, 1st round is a reach for him - he would make a great 2nd or 3rd round pick though.

I agree with this. All the reports I've heard/read say he has changed and was an outstanding student at UNLV. I'm all for 2nd chances and if Herm feels like he is a changed man then I have no problem with it.
