It's really no surprise that the Chiefs struggled to run the ball in 2008. Larry Johnson has turned into an injury-prone, vastly overpaid sloth. Jamaal Charles has looked good, but he's not an every-down back. The 225-pound Jonathan Dwyer, who rushed for 1,395 yards and 12 touchdowns on a seven-yard rushing average as a sophomore, can handle that role for the Chiefs.

Projected 2009 NFL Draft Pick (as of 1/22): DE/OLB Everette Brown

If Jonas Jennings isn't let go this offseason, the injury-prone 31-year-old right tackle definitely will be after the 2009 campaign.

The 49ers had pass protection issues, so an extremely athletic left tackle like Bryan Bulaga can help them out. Adding Bulaga to the blind side would allow Joe Staley to slide back to right tackle.

I look forward to the 2027 draft so I can see the 4 year old that lives down the street go #1 overall. He has a cannon for an arm for a 4 year old.

So, how'd I come up with this order? I picked names out of a hat. That's a crappy way to decide the daft order, but I'd welcome that kind of improvement from the Chiefs. It's time to stop cheering for a high draft pick.

Neither one of them are going to be overly well thought of either way....

And I don't see the Chiefs using a 1st round pick on a RB anytime in the near future.

It would be nice to see big improvement, but I'd jizz in my pants if we landed Carlos Dunlap or Taylor Mays next year.

Unless you're drafting Adrian Peterson, it's a complete and utter waste to spend a first round pick on a running back.

At this point in time, they're a dime a dozen and productive backs can be found as late as the 7th round.
