So... You told me numerous times, that I was wrong about Jake Long...

We argued about Dorsey. Gholsten, etc....

Wh proved himself the better player?

Are you willing to man up and admit that you were wrong? Or do you have more excuses?

Just curious... btw Malaluagua (who I have been high on) did NOT impress me in the Senior Bowl tonight... I would rather have Laurenitis... someone with more brains and discipline.

So far Gholston and Dorsey are busts. I missed your argument with Mecca so I don't know which side of the fence you were on but they both collapsed.

Maualuga will be a much better player in the NFL if he can keep his attitude in check. He had a rep of cruising frat row to pick fights (ala Jarred Allen) when he was young. The ESPN sideline reporter dance might be a sign of his true colors.

Carrol worked hard to coach him but when he gets the paycheck with all of the commas that might go out the window.

my argument was that if Jake Long fell to us... you take him in a heartbeat... Mecca told me that Long was no more than a RIGHT tackle in the NFL....

Jake Long is what detractors said he was...he needs help with speed rushers and for me a LT taken with a top 5 pick should be able to handle any rusher by himself...basically Albert was the just as good if not better while being taken what 14 spots later?

That to me is justification enough to say Jake Long was not worth his draft selection.

How many games did you watch him play this year? I have watched over 40 if you include college games and you are insane to say he needs help with speed rushers...

Yes on occasion he gets help as ALL LTs do ... but he is not reliant upon it... I have seen him perform 1 on 1 and he has been great.

OK.. so you honestly think Dorsey or Gholsten would have been better picks at #5 (whwre I predicted Long to go)?

You are right. Long played well this year. My guess is Pioli will re-assign Albert to RT at some point. Or, Guard.

I just though Long would be GREAT at #5 (of course he never fell so moot point)
