Chiefs spoke to 6 players at Senior Bowl

New Era Scouting has a bit of information that we somehow missed last week. Apparently, the Kansas City Chiefs spoke with six players at the Senior Bowl two weeks ago.

Nathan Brown, QB, Central Arkansas
Rey Maualuga, ILB, USC
Mike Wallace, WR, Ole Miss
Pat White, QB, West Virginia
Brian Cushing, OLB, USC
Keenan Lewis, CB, Oregon State

Nathan Brown and Pat White are the two names that jump out at me immediately. Are one of these two the next Tom Brady or Matt Cassel?
Because this is the first bit of substantial information on specific players the Chiefs may (or may not) be targeting, we'll be taking a closer look at each player throughout the rest of the week.

Oh god..Nathan Brown was so horrendous in that game, and numerous times throughout practice looked like he didn't even belong there.

I think he's a late first rounder/early second rounder.

I'd hate to face him each and every year but that may be the case.

I still say we trade down to jags pick and take rey. In the move we can get maybe jags 2nd rounder too. I'd hate to play him two times a year for the nxt 10.

Throwing out the draft value chart, which doesn't match up point wise with this trade proposal, just who exactly do you think the Jags will be so taken with that they'll trade up to get him?
