Need help editing an AVI File

I downloaded one of GoCheifs awesome NFL Torrents, but the problem is that since its 4.11 GB, I cant get it onto a Fat32 Hard Drive (file limit is 4 GB). I need to figure out how to take out a chunk of plays that don't matter, or split it in half.

If anyone knows of any free software that can help me, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks

Virtualdubmod.

Why you're still using FAT32 is a mystery.

If you have Quicktime Pro, you can save it in another file format such as Sorenson 3. That will greatly reduce the size of the file (as would Photo Jpeg).

Mind if I ask exactly what program you used to download the games off of GoChiefs site? I've been searching for a while and have come up with zilch.

Avi is the only file extension recognized by PS3?

Avi is crap, BTW. Old, outdated codec. That would be weird.
