Wouldn't Ayers be a 4-3 DE? Why would Denver take him if they're switching to a 3-4?
Jose Freeman at 8? Really?!!?!?!
Pettigrew to Houston??!?!?!?!
Crabtree to Green Bay?!?!?!

At 6'4", 275 lb., I think Ayers has the bulk and height to play the DE position in a 3-4. Most think he's stout against the run as well.

Josh looks to be a better version of Jamarcus Russell, and more in-line with a Joe Flacco from last seasons draft. 6'6", 260 lb. with a cannon for an arm, and since everyone around here has a hard on for quarterbacks that played in a pro-style set, I would think that he'd fit the bill quite easily. And there isn't anyone that's going to convince me that David Garrard is the long term solution for the Jaguars.

Yeah, because Owen Daniels just scares the shit out of everyone.

Case of best player available, and I don't think you can give a guy like Rogers enough weapons. And this is Drivers tenth season in the league and they started going to Jennings more last season. Kind of a phase out the old blood bring in the new blood type of pick.

Actually Ayers could very easily play OLB in the 3-4. I could see Denver using one of their picks on him.

When I watched his vids an interviews I couldn't see any intensity in his eyes at all. So I concur.

Nope. No intensity. No passion. This means he will suck.

Seemed like once I stared grabbing WR I could not keep them from flying off the board. I am starting to come around to think that picking Sanchez(or Stafford if he does not go 1 or 2) is the best move. Hold him for ransom and either Denver, TB, NYJ or SF come calling. If they don't, then we have a year to make a decision on either Cassel or Sanchez/Stafford. If the Chiefs were to have the balls to pull the trigger on QB at #3, I am willing to call Denver's bluff, they or someone else will pick up that phone. I can't believe that the young rookie HC in Dtown is willing to bet his future on Simms or Orton. If no one calls, we are still not in a bad spot. I would really prefer a pass rushing stud but there is not one in this draft. I tend to believe that Cassel will be just fine as our QBOTF, but having good options at QB is never a bad thing.

Flame away those that don't like my 5 minute draft I put together on ESPN. Pretty cool link to check out.

How many people have Clay Matthews falling out of the 1st round? On my 2 round mock I have him going in the middle of the 2nd. Im just not impressed one bit with Matthews. Im beginning to think that Matthews is only getting pushed up the 1st round because of his background which is just silly. Face it, one of USC's LB's will fall apart in the NFL. Im banking that Matthews doesnt make it past 5 years in the league. Cushing and Maualuga look pretty good though....Well decent I suppose.

I really dont think Pettigrew is worthy of being that high. You do realize that he didnt score a single touchdown last year right? Other than this I wont complain. Its your thoughts.

I am not a big fan of taking a TE in the first round either. It was either TE or a pass rusher and I did not see much in that department. Buffalo gets a good player that will step in and start week one and fills a need as well. There were a few picks I was not real keen on, but didn't feel like a one round mock draft taking hours. Just my initial thoughts.
