Role reversals and the obvious agendas at 810 WHB...

I know most people don't give a crap, but I just cannot get over how much Keitzman sounds like Petro 2 years ago, and Petro sounds like Keitzman.

It's pretty obvious, at least to me, that it really has nothing to do with the product on the field. Keitzman just said the Chiefs stopped the run yesterday and that's part of the reason he loves Haley.

Petro liked Carl, Keitzman didn't. No matter what you say about Peterson and what he did with the team, you have to give him credit - he sure screwed up the media in KC.

810 sports works with KCTV5 on Chiefs game days they do a show. They probably have to be homers.

That's the thing. Petro has always been the big homer, and he's THE most critical now. He sounds EXACTLY like Keitzman did for the last 10 years or so.

And Keitzman now sounds like Petro used to.

I don't know what kind of agenda Petro could have or what axe he could want to grind. Unless the red zone podcast has been cancelled and he doesn't work for the team anymore (it hasn't he has a show wednesday with mike brown). He's actually a sports guy, like him or not; he does this work because he loves it. He's not a "personality" like Kietzman.

Although maybe he's more critical now specifically because he does work for the team. But my guess is he's just talking about what he believes.

If KK thinks the chiefs will become winners, and thus good for talk radio, then he will bend over for them to benefit himself by getting coach and player interviews. He was critical in the past, simply because CP wouldn't go on his show, so he had nothing to lose by trying to get him run out of town. I dont hate these talk radio guys as much as I used to. I simply figured out that they dont know anymore than I do about our local teams or the sports in general. Now I just agreee to disagree when they dont know what the flap they are talking about.

I was coming back from lunch listening to KK and did I hear him say Ed Werder did a piece on the Chief changes yesterday and that Tony was pissed because he lost his parking spot so that is why he wanted to be traded? Something like he paid $12000 for that spot.
Also LJ apparently said you better not be late or you will be parking in the back. Wow NFL players have it rough.

I wish Baltimore would have ran the ball more in the first half...the only time we stopped them our their drives stalled was when they wasted a play or two by handing the ball to Ray Rice...the play-action game was wide open from the get go...every play...pretty much no matter what.

The fact we held a lead in this game, in the 2nd half, was astonishing...

I guess I shouldn't say "agenda".

Maybe it's just that they have a bias that's more obvious now that the team has changed hands.

Petro isn't the same guy he used to be, he's become seriously bitter. He was audibly disappointed when Carl and Herm were let go. He should stop following the Royals so closely.

Yeah, I don't get wound up about anything they say anymore. I like to listen because occasionally they offer up something I hadn't considered before, right or wrong.

I'm just talking out loud about the turnaround at 810. I never thought I'd hear callers telling Kevin that he needs to stop drinking the red Koolaid.

The Royals and Dayton Moore have had an adverse effect on Petro.

Frank Boal and Petro have or maybe it was a one time show on CBS before the pre-game show was on and he was pretty good outside of his stupid haircut.

Ya know, I have heard some discomforting rumors about Keitzman's show. One about a guy they referred to as "A Turd in a Tent, on the other edge of town."

I found that one hilarious. I don't listen, or subscribe to 810, nor will I be accepting any interviews from them either. They lost all my respect on that day. and if you don't understand what I am talking about?, Well thats ok, I know what happened.
