I would match my scheme to the talent, like Don Shula with Larry Csonka and Dan Marino.

Good answer

If you were in football Utopia and you had a wide range of talent to run everything, what would offense(s) would you like to use?

Nothing wrong with a spread offense. Question though, what if you don't have receivers? What if you, for instance, say you have a strong (not fast or agile) offensive line and a strong running back with an average QB?

I chose the Power I Formation. When I was playing in HS we didnt have a line that could pass block and our QB sucked. In an average smaller city to mid city type High school running the ball is about as complex as you can go. Put a helmet on a helmet and see if they can stop your running back.

Moving to a bigger city school or where you have better players you can still run this and then add some twists to it such as motion out of the backfield. Screens to one of the backs or change the formation to a shotgun and clear the backfield out and catch the defense napping.
