Wow ... another tidbit about free agency this year
not only can teams that made the playoffs not sign a free agent unless they lose a free agent ... but if they lose a guy getting paid 1 million per year they can only sign a new guy worth 1 million

they can only sign a replacement for equal value

I have been saying free agency would be watered down for a long time ... before you and your masturbation buddies.

I think there will be some surprises, like Sproles, but the pool of free agents will primarily consist of 3rd contract guys that it wouldn't financially practical to invest a a lot of money on.
