Who ya got in this hypothetical?

UConn Women = One of the most dominant women's college basketball teams of all time.

Ames HS Boys = One of the better HS teams in the country this year, although they likely only have 2 D1 players on the roster.

And half of the womens pts are from the foul line.

I really don't see how you can make an argument about how this game would even be remotely close. especially since the HS boys team would be in shape as well. I can't imagine what it would be like if the girls had to play with a guys ball.

Let me put this in perspective.

I had friends who were average HS basketball players. One of them ended up dating and marrying a former BB Center for MU. After they began dating, he and his friends were asked by the coach to scrimmage against them in the Rec.

A group of average HS players, largely out of shape and many of them alcoholics, had to be told to take it easy on a middling Division 1 basketball school.

Extrapolate that out to this scenario.

I did the exact same thing. Had a friend who dated a girl whos roomates were MU bbal womens players. We were good players, kinda out of shape, or at least not in playing shape like we were in HS. We scrimmaged the womens teams and at first were just playin around and were up by like 10. We were ****in off so much the coach got mad and said that we were no longer going to play if we were just going to make a mockery of it.

So we bared down and played hard and I don't think they scored after that. I think at one time we went on like a 30-0 run.

Maybe at the HS level, and some players in college. Where the girls are wearing tight shorts and their asses are sticking out. That's always nice. To be honest I dont pay attention to the games.

After a while you get to the point in level of competition where the girls are like 6-4 and taller and they are no longer attractive.

Great breeders though.

Do you really think they enjoy coaching women's ball? You really think Geno Auriemma goes back to his office after practice and looks at himself in the mirror and says.....

"Well by God, that was some quality basketball I saw out there today"

I've seen better 10-12 yr olds than most womens teams.

I think UConn would lose to Ames. However, I would guess they could beat quite a few bad High school teams and even some mediocre teams, due to size and coaching.

This. A few years back me and some friends were playing at the UMKC gym and several of the members of the women's bball team showed up and wanted to "play with the guys". They got completely schooled. Nothing against them, but its just a different game.
