Rose could be really great if he had any help. They're just a team full of mediocre jump shooters and two rebounders. Nobody to score in the post, hardly anyone to run with Rose on the break, and no 3 point shooters. I'm amazed they're in the playoffs.

I had given up all hope when Oden & then the Vanilla Gorilla went down.

They stole Camby & the team was just stating to gell when Brandon went down. They don't usually do too bad when he's not playing but I don't see them advancing, maybe they'll win one to keep from being swept?

Don't matter since Cleveland will prolly win it all this year.

No question at all.

Butler and Kidd make a huge difference and so do Marion and Haywood.

Dirk doesn't have to score 40 every night and that's huge. And if Terry has an off night it doesn't kill the team.

This is probably the best Mavericks team EVER. They lack a truly elite complement to Dirk but they are so well rounded otherwise I don't see it as a huge issue. And their record against the best teams bears that out. 2-2 against the Lakers, 2-1 against Phoenix, 2-1 against Denver, 1-1 against Orlando, 1-1 against Atlanta, 1-1 against Boston. And the Mavericks are 23-7 since the Butler trade. During that stretch they beat the Magic and the Lakers.

If they don't do it now, they may never do it.

I don't know that they will, but I know San Antonio is toast.
